Hungarian National Ballet

Modern Ballet Evening in Two Acts
The Hungarian National Ballet’s modern evening entitled Threestyle presents the works of three influential choreographers: Hans van Manen’s fiery 5 Tangos, which combines classical ballet and modern dance; Sharon Eyal’s Bedroom Folk, which is an experimental, suggestive choreography synthesising various forms of dance while presenting unique character; and the American William Forsythe’s The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude. This piece pays homage to classical techniques and it is considered the most challenging short ballet.
