"Blah, blah, blah..."

Székesfehérvár Ballet Theatre

The contemporary dance theatre evening starts with an upbeat; a female solo. The dynamic solo entitled All'arrabbiata recalls the world of Fellini. The second performance, "Blah, blah, blah..." is a playful ballet peppered with irony and sarcasm. In fact, it is a kind of study of human communication or rather, its deficiencies. The third one act ballet of the first part of the evening is The Letter. The atmosphere and the music of this piece recalls the world of Chekhov’s plays. The final part of the evening is the ballet entitled Besos. The individual dance dramas of this ballet are reminiscent of Örkény’s One-minute Stories. All three dances are duets; a kind of "piccolo mondo", i.e. a small world.  The focus of each ballet movement is the kiss.
