Gera Anita és a Magyar Táncműhely

Why do we understand (if we do understand) our generation, while we have a lesser understanding of the generations that come before or after us?
Is this a simple (eternal) generational conflict or has it also become a civilisatoric question?

New communication technologies (IT) are creating communities based on new types of relationships, and through these communities a new, previously unknown network based existence is formed, which overshadows primary communities based on personal acquaintance. Is the connection system itself, created in this space which cannot be described by x-y-z, virtual or is it an actual, real network? And based on what coordinates are we able to decide what is real and what is virtual? If we have legitimate doubts about the persons (personalities) involved in the communication to begin with, what are the chances that the conditions for “discourse” (e.g. truthfulness, relevance, competence, etc.) are met?
…and do we realise that in “traditional reality” there are far fewer smiles than on selfies?
